Last day in Makka is really important to spend out according to the Sunnah of Prophet SAAW in Hajj. As Mecca is holiest place in the world for Muslims and every pilgrim (Haji) wishes to stay in Mecca as much as possible.

So your last day after performing hajj and next to take flight to you home, must be spend in the city of Islam, the Holy Mecca where the Kaba (The house of Allah) is situated in the holiest mosque, Masjid Al Haram. So the mecca airport must be your last destination of hajj.
What to do at Mecca on Last day

Last Tawaf must be your last rite you will do in Holy Mecca. After offering last tawaf you will visit mecca airport and start your journey back to your home. As it is obligation to offer Tawaf Wida (farewell Tawaf) after having Pilgrimage to Makka.

After performing tawaf, you must leave Mecca. Otherwise, if you stay there then you have to perform tawaf again before leaving Mecca.

Don’t forget to bring Zamzam water along with you at your home as it is the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAAW. Even don’t forget to recite travel dua while leaving mecca to your home as it is permissible.
