History Of Hajj

The history of hajj goes to thousands of years back in the time of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim. At that time Arab was a barren land with no life or human living there, on the instruction of Allah Ibrahim (A.S)bring his child Is’mail and his wife Hajira in the valley of Mecca from Palestine.

He provides them with some supply of food and water and returned back to his home according to the order of Allah. Few days after, the food and water become finished and both Is’mail and Hajira started to suffer from hunger and thirst.

In the search of water and help Hajira moved up and down between the hills of Safa and Marwa, seven times but find nothing then prayed to Allah after putting Is’mail on sand.

In the instance the baby Is’mail cried and hits his foots on ground which resulted in to spring of Zamzam water from that point miraculously.

After short period of time Ibrahim came back to visit his wife and son and amazed to see the natural supply of water, and trading water with passing people for food.

At this time Ibrahim was given an order by Allah to build a shrine, dedicated to Allah so that people can prayer there for Him.

At this prophet Ibrahim and his son Is’mail build a small and cube shaped structure with stones, as the time passes a number of people started to worship Allah as a result of is’mail preaching.

As the time passes the holy place of Qabba became the place of many gods and idols, then the prophet Muhammad (SAW) came and restored the Qabba as the place of Allah after a long struggle in his life. Now the city Mecca became a so holy place for Muslims that no Non-Muslim is allowed to enter into this place.
