Prayer in the Blessed Valley!

Wadi Al-Aqiq is considered to be the blessed valley according to some of the Ahadith of Prophet SAAW. The one’s whose Miqat is Dhul Hulaifah or Zu 'l-Hulafa, then it’s permissible or recommended (Mustahib or Mandoob) for him/her to offer prayer there, not for Ihram, but of the place and it’s being blessed.

As narration from Umer R.A is stated by Bukhari that Rasool Allah said,

“I heard the prophet of Allah say in wadi ul ‘Aqiq”

And another place it is as,

“Someone came to me this night from my Lord and said: Pray in this blessed valley, and say `Umrah with Hajj”

In another hadith (Tradition) narrated by Ibn Umer (may Allah be pleased with him), Rasool Allah SAAW explains the importance of the blessed place and praying there as,

“that he saw, when alighting for sleep at the end of the night in Dhul Hulaifah in the center of the valley, one saying to him: you are in the blessed stony ground.”

Thus, according to many of authentic Ahadith (Narrations) of Prophet Muhammad-e-Mustafa SAAW, Wadi Al-Aqiq is considered as the blessed valley where offering prayer is permissible (Mustahib) in Islam.

So if your Miqat is Dhul Hulaifah or Zu 'l-Hulafa, don’t let miss the chance of getting the blessing of the blessed place declared by the Blessed Prophet Muhammad-e-Mustafa SAAW.
