Hajj Guide by Editorial Staff (June 09, 03:01 AM)

After the sun set during hajj, go toward Muzdalifah, now you have to leave Arafah (A large plain to the south-east of Mecca and the mount of Arafat) and not to stay anymore after performing all the relevant rituals of Hajj which were to performed.

Leaving the plain of Arafah during performing the Hajj and going towards Muzdalifah must be in gentle way i.e. with calmness and tranquility as it is one of the rituals of hajj. That means you should avoid jostling or pushing the people in rush. But when you find a way, room and free space you can go faster.

After you reach Muzdalifah, at Maghrib, give adhan (Azaan) and iqamah (Iqamat) then prays the three rak'ahs (Rakaats) of Namaz-e-Maghrib and combine it with Isha prayer by giving adhan and Iqamah for Namaz-e-Isha i.e. shortening it and joining the two prayers.

You can separate these two prayers, i.e. Maghrib and Isha if there exists any necessity as it is not haram in Shara’i reason as per Haj. One thing you must remember is you cannot pray anything between and after these two prayers until Fajr, however, it is not general but specific to the Hajj.

Just after offering these two prayers, one should sleep till Namaz-e-Fakr i.e. just after Ishah you should sleep till Fajar. Finally, when you wake up before the dawn first appears, you must pray Namaz-e-Fajr with adhan (Azaan) and Iqamah (Iqamat).
