There are many duas in Quran and in Sunnah in which Muslims are push to seek guidance to straight path, the path of those by upon whom Allah have bestowed favor. In the Quran, Surah Fatiha considered to be the dua along with hamd (Praise of Allah) as most comprehensive and most beautiful. It is as following,



Translation:

(1) In the name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
 
(2) [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
 
(3) The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
 
(4) Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
 
(5) It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
 
(6) Guide us to the straight path -
 
(7) The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger, or of those who are astray


Transliteration:

(1) bismillaahir-raḥmaanir-raḥeem
 
(2) al-ḥamdu lillaahi rabbil-‛aalameen
 
(3) ar-raḥmaanir-raḥeem
 
(4) maaliki yawm-id-deen
 
(5) iyyaaka na‛budu wa iyyaaka nasta‛een
 
(6) ihdinaṣ-ṣiraٰṭal-mustaqeem
 
(7) ṣiraٰṭ-alladheena an‛amta ‛alayhim ghayril-maghḍoobi ‛alayhim wa laḍ-ḍaaalleen
