When Pilgrims approach the plain of Arafah, the day called Arafah day of Hajj, they are to say certain duas as the Prophet Muhammad-e-Mustafa SAAW used to say.

The duaa of the day of Arafah in Islam is considered to be the best amongst other duaas taken in account during hajj. The Prophet SAAW says,

The best of supplications is the supplication on the day of AAarafah and the best which I and the Prophets before me have said (is):


 

Transliteration: laa ilaaha ill-allaahu, waḥdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ‛alaa kulli shay’in qadeer

Translation: “None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and all praise and He is over all things omnipotent.”
