Duas by Editorial Staff (June 25, 12:29 AM)

Words of remembrance for morning and evening are the best word narrated as Prophet SAAW used to recite as dua and remembrance. Here morning means the Fajr time before sun rises and evening means time after the Asr prayer until the sun sets.

These following word of remembrance of Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala for morning (Fajr) and evening (Asr) are to say after respective Salaat (Nimaz – prayer) is offered i.e. after offering salaam as it is narrated in  Bukhari No# 6306, 6323; Abu Dawud No# 5070; At-Tirmidhi No# 3393; An-Nasa'i No# 5522 and in Ibn Majah No# 3872 that the Prophet Muhammad SAAW said "The master supplication (most superior way) to ask for forgiveness from Allah is:

Translation: "O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your slave and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best as I can, I seek refuge with You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You."

Transliteration: allaahumma anta rabbiy laa ilaaha illaa anta, khalaqtanee wa ana ‛abduka, wa ana ‛alaa ‛ahdika wa wa‛dika masta-ṭa‛tu a‛oodhu bika min sharri maa ṣana‛tu, aboo’u laka bi ni‛matika ‛alayya wa aboo’u bi dhambee, faghfir lee fa innahu laa yaghfir-udh-dhunooba illaa ant
