A special act of cleanliness before offering the prayer in Islam is known as WUDU. Here you can find the complete procedure of performing Wadhu before offering any Salah in Islam, don’t mix the wudu with Ghusl as both are different methods of Islam for cleanliness of body from physical impurities. You cannot offer your prayer without performing wudu in islam.
 

1. First of all make intention in your heart for wudu and start performing Wudu by saying “Bismillah”.

2. Now wash your hands up to wrist so that water reaches to each and every part of hands even on the spaces between fingers, (Start washing hands by washing right hand first).

3. Now take water in your right hand and put it in your mouth and rinse your mouth, repeat this procedure three times.

4. In the next step again make a cup of your right hand take water in it and then splash it in your nose, repeat this process three times, use left hand to clean the nose.

5. Take water in your both hands and splash it on your face, the area of face which must be washed includes the place from right ear to left ear, the bottom of the chin and the forehead repeat the process 3 times.

6. Now wash your arms up to elbows by starting with the right arm, make sure that no part is left dry repeat the same thing 3 times with each arm. First wash right arm then wash left arm.

7. Wet your hands and join the fingers of both hands and move it on your head by starting from the top of the forehead, and ending it at the neck then bringing them back to the forehead. Now move back side of your hand on the back on neck and front side of the neck will be cleaned by front side of your hands.

8. Now clean the grooves of your ears with the tip of your index finger & then move the tip of thumb on the back side of the ears.

9. Now wash your feet up to ankle, first wash right foot then wash left foot. Each foot should be washed three times, water must be reached to each and every part of both feet.

Things Which will Null & Void the WUDU

1. Excretion of waste material, i.e urine, gas or feaces etc.

2. Falling Asleep.

3. Going to situation of unconsciousness, in-toxicity etc.

4. Wudu will become invalid if any action leads to the secretion of semen.
