Learn to Create a Group for Simultaneous Chat on Skype

Making groups in Skype is very easy, simple and quick process. Group chat let you send IMs to two or more accounts simultaneously. Similarly in Skype, when you call, send file or message to any group, each and every member of that group receives what you’ve sent.

As Skype also lets you create groups with different names and contact inserted in it, you can do many business and home task with this Skype feature. Moreover, you can add up to 300 (three hundred) Skype contacts in each group. Follow the following instructions for how to create a group for group conversations in Skype.

Requirements:

  • You must have Skype account

  • Working internet connection

  • Computer or any type of PC

  • Skype contacts willing to be in your group


Step by Step:

  1. Sign in to Skype with username and password

  2. Select File > New Conversation from the menu bar

  3. Now click or tap the Add button , select the contacts you want to add to the group, and then click Add

  4. Now you can add as many as Skype contacts in that particular group by just drop down method. Just open the group conversation and from the Contacts section or Recent, click and hold the desired contact and drop it in group conversation area. That’s it.
